How long does your sick leave have to be paid for?

For ordinary illness or domestic injury, the first 3 days of sick leave are unpaid. The employer pays the benefit from day 4 to day 8 of the illness. Tervisekassa pays from day 9 onwards; the reimbursement rate is 70%.
